My client, a reputable foundation based in Liverpool is looking to recruit an interim Engagement & Marketing Officer to work alongside the Marketing Manager to assist with employee engagement and the delivery plan, which is part of the organisations overall People & Organisation Development strategy.

This interim role is initially for 3 months, remote working with 1 day in office per week, you need to based local to attend events.

This role will contribute towards internal communication and brand activity through dedicated media channels and provide consistent messaging internally to the workforce and externally to support the organisations growth and development in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing

  • Help to transform internal communication culture – through brand, tone, language and imagery, create a stimulating, positive and authentic communication in line with the values of our organisation.
  • Assist with the management of internal and external communication for the Board, Executive Team and Business Divisions.
  • Manage the day to day maintenance of website, ensuring the content is relevant and up to date.
  • Ensure all in-house and externally produced marketing materials are compliant with branding guidelines.
  • Produce internal and external communications, such as e-bulletins to Trustees and stakeholders.
  • Managing the process of 2 main events from start to finish 
  • Experience of developing and implementing communication plans and strategies
  • Connecting and engaging the people who use organisations services and the public in the work of an organisation.
  • Understands how to communicate across a geographical, dispersed workforce, including remote working.
  • Offering admin support to the Marketing Manager 

Engagement

  • Help develop new and innovative ways to engage with our people including seeking and acting on their feedback to identify the most effective methods
  • Co-ordinate and produce monthly reports for all employee recognition programmes
  • Assist with the annual employee engagement survey cycle of activity including our full survey, pulse survey and action planning workshops
  • Provide support across the L&OD team in delivering our engagement events

Skills Required::

  • Must have previous experience working in a similar internal comms and marketing role
  • Some experience of managing events from start to finish 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – friendly, approachable and professional.
  • Confident communicator/presenter with the ability to relate to our people at all levels.
  • Good planning, time management and organisational skills.
  • Able to prioritise workloads and work to deadlines
  • Good written skills with attention to detail, accuracy and ability to adapt style to audience.
  • judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to produce reports and present statistical information.

Interim role initially for 3 months, hourly rate is £18.50ph

Remote working with 1 day in Liverpool office per week, must live local to attend events

35 hour week, Monday-Friday. You must be available to start beginning of June.
