About the Role:As a Primary ECT, you will take on a full classroom role, planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire young learners. You'll be supported by experienced mentors and leadership teams as you complete your two-year ECT induction, with access to structured training, observations, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver creative and effective lessons across the primary curriculum

Establish a safe, stimulating, and positive learning environment

Assess and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs

Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support pupil development

Contribute to the wider school life, including assemblies, trips, and extracurricular activities
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or expected QTS by July 2025

A passion for primary education and a commitment to inclusive practice

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

A reflective and proactive approach to professional development

Strong understanding of the national curriculum and early childhood development
