The School and Role

This large and friendly Secondary Academy based in Smithdown, Liverpool, are looking to appoint a strong Music Teacher to teach KS3 - KS4 levels and work as part of an established team.  This is a full-time role, starting at the beginning of the next Academic Year in September 2025.  The successful candidate must be comfortable teaching students Music up to KS4 and be fully versed in the current curriculum.  This school were marked as 'Oustanding' on their last Ofsted inspection which took place in February 2020.  They are a Church of England High School for girls in Years 7 – 11, with a mixed Sixth Form, serving the Diocese of Liverpool and their aim is to develop in their pupils a love of God, an understanding of and respect for the faith and traditions of others, and a real and abiding belief in their own value and self-worth.  This is a well established and high achieving school that moved to a new site in 2015 and has continued to thrive in its new, modern environment.

Requirements

The desired Teacher will have;

-          Hold QTS in the UK

-          Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels

-          Confidence in teaching the current curriculum

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
