Are you an experienced HR professional with a passion for employee relations and strategic projects? Do you thrive on providing expert guidance and building strong, trusted relationships across a business?

I'm excited to be partnering with a leading organisation in Liverpool to recruit a People Partner on a permanent basis. This hybrid role offers an excellent opportunity to make a real impact by supporting key HR functions, offering expert procedural advice, and driving forward meaningful projects that shape the company's people strategy.

What you'll be doing:

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to leaders, managers, and employees on a range of HR matters, including terms and conditions, pay, recruitment, employment law, and company policies.
  • Providing hands-on support for employee relations cases, investigations, and formal procedures.
  • Supporting managers with the Staff Attendance procedure, including Occupational Health referrals, sickness review meetings, and follow-up actions.
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment processes - from advertising roles and arranging interviews to conducting pre-employment checks and issuing contracts.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring GDPR compliance.
  • Leading on a specific area of HR expertise, providing guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Assisting with staff inductions, employee engagement initiatives, and key HR projects aimed at enhancing the overall employee experience.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in an HR advisory role, with a strong focus on employee relations.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
