We're seeking a dedicated and community-focused Neighbourhood Specialist to be the visible presence of the organisation across Merseyside. You'll play a vital role in supporting tenancy sustainability, resolving neighbourhood issues and ensuring compliance with landlord responsibilities.

Location: Across Merseyside
Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days per week
Contract: Temp until end of March 2026
Salary: up to 22 an hour


Your new role

  • Let homes efficiently to minimise rent loss, respond to enquiries (including face-to-face), act as the organisation's presence in neighbourhoods, and encourage resident involvement.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of local issues, contribute to Neighbourhood Plans, and deliver agreed actions.
  • Track the impact of initiatives, recommend future improvements, and help maintain and improve neighbourhood appearance, including enforcement actions.
  • Deal with neighbour conflicts professionally and build effective partnerships with local service providers.
  • Provide a comprehensive tenancy service, carry out inspections, deliver compliance and servicing actions, and manage service charges including budgets and renewals.
  • Support the Income team with arrears' visits, undertake tenancy enforcement when required, and sign up new tenants to ensure smooth onboarding.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience in tenancy management, compliance, and servicing.
  • Confidence in handling neighbour disputes and conflict resolution.
  • Knowledge of legal tenancy enforcement processes.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Flexibility to attend sites across Merseyside.
