Part-Time Bookkeeper - Freight Forwarding

We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a well-established freight and logistics business. This role would suit someone looking for flexibility, with the option to work 2-3 days per week (or equivalent hours).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day bookkeeping using Sage accounting software
• Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns
• Reconcile accounts, manage ledgers, and handle general financial administration
• Support management with accurate financial records and reporting

Requirements:

• Proven bookkeeping experience (ideally within an SME environment)
• Strong working knowledge of Sage
• Experience preparing VAT returns
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Hours & Salary:

• Part-time: 2-3 days per week (or flexible equivalent)
• Competitive hourly rate, dependent on experience
