Job Title: Payroll Supervisor
Salary: £35,000
Working Structure: 3 days office / 2 days home (Office based for probation)
Location: Merseyside
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the payroll team, ensuring deadlines are met, timesheets are accurate, and quality standards are maintained.
- Provide guidance to team members, helping to resolve queries and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Oversee payroll compliance, including statutory filings, pension uploads, and internal auditing.
- Act as a key point of contact with HMRC, pension providers, and other external stakeholders.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience, offering timely, professional, and accurate service at all times.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Proven ability to manage and prioritise workloads effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 5 years’ payroll experience within an organisation.
- (Desirable) Experience using BrightPay and Xero payroll software.
- (Desirable) Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and using iMac systems.
