?? Job Opportunity: Humanities / PSHE Teacher

Tradwind is working on behalf of SEN Secondry school who is seeking a full time Humanities / PSHE Teacher to start after he half term

About the Role:

You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, accessible lessons in Humanities (e.g. History, Geography, RE) and PSHE (Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education). Your teaching will help students develop essential life skills, build self-confidence, and better understand the world around them.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a flexible, differentiated curriculum tailored to a variety of SEN needs including ASD, SEMH, MLD, and SLCN

  • Design creative and meaningful lessons across Humanities and PSHE topics

  • Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment

  • Work closely with the SENCo, support staff, and therapists to ensure holistic support for all students

  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed

We Are Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • A background in teaching Humanities and/or PSHE, ideally with SEN experience

  • Empathy, patience, and a passion for inclusive education

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A commitment to supporting the personal and academic development of every student
