A welcoming and inclusive primary school, in the Kirkby area, is seeking to appoint a passionate and experienced Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This role will focus on Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2.

Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching within KS1 and/or KS2.
- Ability to plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
- Strong skills in monitoring pupil progress and using data to improve outcomes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in leading a subject area, particularly a core subject.
- Experience working with a diverse student population.
- Strong behaviour management strategies.
- A proactive approach to keeping up with educational research and best practices.
- Flexibility to adapt teaching to meet individual learning styles.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons aligned to the curriculum.
- Assess, monitor and provide feedback to ensure pupil progress.
- Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Work closely with colleagues to support curriculum and school improvement.
- Maintain strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community.
- Contribute actively to the school's ethos and values.
