Leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to deliver a major cladding remediation and internal refurbishment project focused on fire protection works. The project duration is approximately 80 weeks. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of managing complex construction projects autonomously, with previous experience on schemes valued more than 15m.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Full responsibility for the successful delivery of the project to programme and budget
  • Overall management of quality, health & safety, and site compliance
  • Ensuring all works meet current building regulations, fire safety standards, and statutory requirements
  • Coordination and management of subcontractors and supply chain
  • Monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies
  • Liaison with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and reporting
  • Driving high standards of workmanship and project governance throughout the lifecycle

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong background in autonomous project management for a main contractor
  • Experience delivering cladding remediation and/or fire protection works (highly desirable)
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects (15m+)
  • In-depth knowledge of building regulations, compliance, and quality management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
