A leading UK-based construction and maintenance company is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to join its Planned Maintenance division, operating from its Merseyside office. The role will involve full commercial responsibility for a designated contract, covering pre- and post-contract functions, cost control, and reporting.

Description

  • Lead the commercial delivery of projects, ensuring contractual obligations and company strategies are implemented and reviewed.
  • Prepare and submit monthly Cost Value Reconciliations (CVRs) and progress reports.
  • Support tender strategies and understand pricing build-ups.
  • Maximise project value through external valuations and cash flow management.
  • Collaborate on final accounts for both main and subcontractors.
  • Oversee subcontract procurement, measurement and valuation, and issue relevant contractual documentation.
  • Ensure all commercial activities align with health and safety requirements.

Profile

  • Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying role within construction or property maintenance.
  • Strong skills in value recovery, cash flow management, and cost control.
  • Proficiency in interpreting and presenting financial reports.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across stakeholders and project teams.
  • A team leader committed to supporting and developing on-site commercial teams.
