Our client is a Tier 1 Contractor with a heavy presence in the Social Housing sector, they are committed to delivering high quality maintenance solutions for housing providers and local authorities with the goal of improving communities.An opportunity has opened up for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join our clients growing team, working on Social Housing contracts across Merseyside.

Description

  • Manage all commercial aspects of assigned Social Housing projects
  • Ensure cost control, accurate reporting, and risk management throughout the project lifecycle
  • Support procurement of subcontractors and manage subcontract accounts
  • Work closely with site teams and clients etc to ensure value for money and contract compliance
  • Prepare valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Contribute forecasting, budgeting and monthly reporting
  • Support and mentor junior members of the commercial team

Profile

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally at a senior/project level
  • Strong understand and experience within Social Housing refurbishment or maintenance contracts
  • Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying
