Quantity Surveyor - Permanent Role | Liverpool

An established contractor with a strong reputation in building maintenance and refurbishment is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a QS to come and join this team

They're a long established Contractor, with deep experience in delivering quality and working with long-established relationships in the Construction industry

You'll be working on a variety of projects across multiple sectors, supporting the commercial function from initial enquiry through to final account. Responsibilities include:

  • Cost control and cost analysis
  • Subcontract procurement
  • Site surveys, valuations and variations
  • Preparation of cost reports and cash flow forecasts
  • Liaison with clients and internal teams
  • Use of Schedules of Rates

Reporting into the Commercial Director, you'll have good commercial skills and experience of construction projects

What You'll Need

  • Degree-level qualification in Quantity Surveying (ideally, but not essential)
  • Strong IT skills (Word, Excel; familiarity with project planning tools is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full, clean driving licence
