Adaptable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a well established Liverpool based organisation who is looking to recruit an experienced Rent Control Officer on an on going temporary basis .Salary and Benefits£28000 - £3100025 days holiday + bank holidaysHybrid working model in place ( 3 day office / 2 days home based )Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo undertake all associated duties to validate the accuracy of rents information on a daily/weekly basis as required.Duites include-

  • Importing cash receipting files
  • Importing DD/standing order files
  • Importing housing benefit/UC files
  • Posting unmatched items from suspense
  • Posting other payment method transactions (wage deductions, bank giros, DSS payments)
  • Posting dishonored cheques
  • Rent Reconciliations on a monthly basis
  • Assisting with rent setting budgets
  • To assist in the compilation of information as required as part of the (monthly) management accounts / final accounts processes, and including balance sheet (control account) reconciliations, the bad debt provision, sinking fund calculations and transfers, identification of accruals (Supporting People, third party care providers).

Experience required for the role Ideally you will have worked within the housing sector , and you must have previous experience of working within a transactional finance role and have handled reconciliations. Strong IT skills and attention to detail are essential.
