Product Designer required for a leading furniture manufacturer due to company growth and a focus on new product development. This is a great opportunity for a product designer looking for a creative role.
This role would suit a Product Designer with experience designing soft fitting furniture. You will need experience using 2D and 3D CAD software and experience working on multiple projects at a time.
The successful candidate will be joining a small R&D team working on the development of both new and existing products. You will work with SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create models and sketches.
The Product Designer Role:
路 Design of furniture from concept using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
路 Ensure product concepts are feasible
路 Material selection to ensure high quality products
路 Research market trends and identify market gaps
路 Creation and oversight of prototypes
路 Project documentation including BOMs, specifications etc.
The Product Designer Candidate:
路 Experience with furniture design
