Accounts Assistant - Liverpool - Up to £35,000
Full-time | Hybrid | Manufacturing Sector

Accountable Recruitment are working with a successful, international manufacturing business who are looking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their established finance team.

Salary/Benefits:

  • Up to £35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Job Duties:

  • Posting bank transactions and maintaining cash book reconciliations

  • Month-end support including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and general ledger postings

  • Intercompany and bank reconciliations including revaluations

  • Supporting the Finance Manager with financial reporting and the year-end audit

  • Inputting accurate financial data into SAP and maintaining up-to-date records

  • Supporting UK payroll: gathering data, liaising with payroll provider, checking reports, and handling queries

Ideal Experience:

  • AAT qualified or QBE (qualified by experience)

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a finance role

  • Strong Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)

  • Confident using SAP (or similar ERP systems)

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills

  • Strong communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
