Your new schoolHays Education are working in partnership with a large, high-performing secondary school in the Sefton area of Liverpool to recruit a Teacher of Maths for a maternity cover position starting after the October half-term.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established Maths department within a school that values academic excellence and staff wellbeing. You'll be supported by a strong senior leadership team and a collaborative group of colleagues who are committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for students.Your new roleYou will be responsible for teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire and challenge pupils of all abilities. The role requires a teacher who is confident, enthusiastic, and committed to raising achievement. You will be required to fulfil the full role of a teacher, including planning, marking and attending school CPD. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher of ECT to join a team near to the start of the academic year.What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Maths at secondary level, KS3 and KS4.
- KS5 experience not essential
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching
- Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a positive school culture
