Female Service Manager – Liverpool

Salary: £38,220 + £250 weekly on-call allowance

Hours: 37.5 per week, Mon–Fri (with on-call rota if opt in)

Contract: Permanent

New Start is a family-run, not-for-profit organisation providing housing and support services across Merseyside. We work with vulnerable adults, families, and young people facing homelessness and complex needs.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Female Service Manager to lead our 24/7 supported accommodation project for women in Liverpool. You’ll manage a dedicated team, ensuring women feel safe, supported, and empowered to move forward towards independence and permanent housing.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and inspire a team delivering trauma-informed, person-centred support.
  • Manage safeguarding, risk, and incident reporting processes.
  • Build strong partnerships with local authorities, police, and other agencies.
  • Oversee service delivery, compliance, and property management.
  • Support women in building confidence, resilience, and life skills.

About You

  • 2+ years’ management/supervisory experience in a similar setting
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (minimum) + working towards Level 5 in Leadership & Management
  • 3+ years’ experience in outreach, hostel, or residential support
  • Knowledge of homelessness, mental health, substance misuse, and safeguarding
  • Confident leader with excellent multi-agency working skills
