The School are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant from January 2026.

The school is the heartbeat of the Liverpool community and is OFSTED graded ''GOOD.''

The School are looking to appoint the member of staff following the half term break.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SEN staff to provide personalised support for students with SEN, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to thrive in their education. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the implementation of personalised learning plans for SEN students
Offering 1:1 and small group support for children.

Supporting children working below their expected level
Helping create a nurturing, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Supporting classroom activities and adapting resources to meet students' needs
Encouraging social, emotional, and academic development
Collaborating with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other professionals to deliver targeted interventions
Requirements:

Experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is highly desirable
Patience, compassion, and a positive approach to supporting children's learning
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for working in education and helping children succeed
An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)


Minimum 6 months experience within a School environment
