Our Client, Liverpool council is seeking a Children’s Social Worker to join their Safeguarding Team.

Responsibilities of this role:

  • Promote the safety and wellbeing of children and young people across services.
  • Respond to safeguarding concerns and ensure timely, appropriate action is taken.
  • Undertake risk assessments and contribute to safeguarding plans.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to coordinate safeguarding responses.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with safeguarding policies and legislation.
  • Provide advice, guidance, and support to staff on safeguarding procedures and best practice.
  • Attend and contribute to strategy meetings, case reviews, and multi-agency forums.
  • Support continuous improvement in safeguarding practice through training and development.

Requirements of this role:

  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
  • Must have minimum of 3 year's experience working as a Qualified social worker
