We're looking to recruit an experienced Housing Officer in the Liverpool area to join our clients' team on an ongoing, temporary basis with hourly rates up to £22ph.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing housing, tenancy and estate management across patch of designated housing stock including managing a caseload of ASB & rent arrears
  • Lettings, sign-ups, viewings, exchanges, tenancy audits/reviews, terminations and enforcement of tenancy conditions
  • Supporting vulnerable tenants at risk of failing their tenancy with sustainment, signposting and referring to external services where appropriate
  • Ensuring your presence is visible within communities, conducting estate walkabouts and dealing with any identified issues such as graffiti, litter, repairs, abandoned properties tec
  • Identify and report any health & safety issues/breaches, ensuring compliance with relevant standards including gas safety checks
  • Responding to general queries/complaints from customers, MPs and other stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of providing housing & tenancy management across 300+ properties including caseloads of ASB & arrears
  • Good knowledge and understanding of relevant housing & tenancy legislation, frameworks and best practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to manage professional relationships with tenants including non-compliance and complex support needs
  • Driving licence with access to own vehicle and relevant business insurance
