A dedicated SEN primary school in Liverpool is seeking a Behaviour Support Worker to join their team. This is a full-time role supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, many of whom have autism and other complex learning needs. The role includes 1.1 and group work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support pupils in managing behaviour and emotional regulation.
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups to build trust and engagement.
  • Implement tailored behaviour support strategies under the guidance of the SEN team.
  • Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Has experience working with children with challenging behaviour or SEN.
  • Is calm, resilient, and empathetic.
  • Understands safeguarding and behaviour management techniques.
  • Team Teach or similar training is desirable but not essential.
