Job Title: Senior Social Worker - Child Protection TeamLocation: KnowsleyPay Rate: £ 39.45/per hourLiquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker for the Child Protection Team to join our client in Knowsley. The role of the Senior Social Worker involves ensuring that the needs of children, young people, and their families are identified, safeguarded, and monitored in accordance with the Children Act, Service policies, and relevant legislation. This position also includes responsibilities such as managing and supervising child placements, as well as meeting fostering and adoption standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote the welfare and safeguarding of children, young people, and their families.
  • Conduct timely assessments in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Engage relevant agencies, children, and families in assessments and planning.
  • Manage complex and varied caseloads, ensuring high-quality casework.
  • Mentor less experienced Social Workers and co-work cases.
  • Develop care plans that reflect the views and wishes of children and young people.
  • Maintain high-standard case records and produce required reports.
  • Regularly review and update plans to meet the diverse needs of children and families.

Qualifications and Experience : To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.
