Your new company

Hays Education are working with a school in Sefton who have a job in their SEN provision. This role will start after the half-term, and will be ongoing for the right candidate. This is 5 days per week and 08:30-15:30.

Your new job

This job involves working in a primary school in the SEN provision. You will be supporting pupils with varied SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties. Your working hours will be 08:30-15:30 with a half-an-hour un-paid break. The children you will be working with will be a mixture of KS1 and KS2.What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this job, you will need a full DBS on the update service as well as:

  • 2 +years experience working with children in a school setting
  • Experience supporting children with SEN needs in small group settings
  • Teaching Assistant Qualification (desirable)
  • Experience with behaviour management and de-escalating behaviour
