SEN Teaching Assistant - South Liverpool

Full-Time | September Start

We are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive school in South Liverpool seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team.

The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for children with a range of SEN needs

  • Assist in developing and delivering individual education plans (IEPs)

  • Collaborate closely with class teachers, SENCOs, parents, and external specialists

  • Support pupils with autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, and other learning challenges

  • Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive

About You:

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Essential: Previous experience working with children with SEN in a school or educational setting

  • A caring, patient, and resilient approach

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships

  • An understanding of safeguarding and the ability to follow school policies

  • A relevant qualification in education or SEN is advantageous but not essential
