Key Responsibilities:
  • Support children with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions

  • Support pupils' emotional, social, and personal development

  • Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and external professionals to ensure consistent support

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (in a school or similar setting)

  • A relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is desirable

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • A calm, patient, and flexible approach to working with children

  • A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
