About the Role:We are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced SEN school in Sefton, seeking a dedicated ASD Specialist Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2025. This is a long-term role with the potential for extension or permanency for the right candidate.

You will be working with a small group of students with complex ASD needs, supported by experienced Teaching Assistants. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment, with a strong emphasis on communication, sensory integration, and social development.

The ideal candidate will have:? Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)? Proven experience working with children with ASD, ideally within a specialist or SEN setting? A compassionate and flexible teaching approach? Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills? Knowledge of PECS, TEACCH, or other autism-specific strategies (advantageous)
