We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed professional to join Excellent SEN Schools in in Liverpool and Knowsley, and caters for 11-17 year olds who have special education needs relating mainly to Autism.

Looking for a MathsTeacher, the school offers an environment that is safe and low sensory alongside an ambitious curriculum which includes a suite of GCSE's and enrichment opportunities to ensure students achieve the very best outcomes possible and are fully prepared for their transition in to Further education, employment, training and adulthood.

The successful candidate will:

  • Plan teaching to achieve progression in pupils' learning
  • Help to engage students with both reading and writing
  • Provide clear structures for lessons maintaining pace, motivation and challenge
  • Establish and maintain a safe environment and purposeful working atmosphere which supports learning and in which pupils feel secure and confident

Qualifications/Experience:

  • A committed and passionate view of students with SEND
  • At least two years' experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision
  • QTS/QTLS would be an advantage
