We are seeking a Part-Time SEN Teacher to join our inclusive and nurturing school community. This role is ideal for someone who is committed to making a difference in the lives of children with diverse learning needs.

About the Role:

As a Part-Time SEN Teacher, you will:

  • Plan, deliver and assess individualised learning programs for students with SEN

  • Work closely with the SENCO and support staff to create a positive and inclusive environment

  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those with ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning challenges

  • Foster strong relationships with parents and carers, providing regular updates on progress and development

  • Maintain up-to-date records in line with EHCPs and other educational plans

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Proven experience working with children with special educational needs

  • Strong understanding of SEND Code of Practice and relevant safeguarding procedures

  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills

  • A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to teaching
