Are you a dedicated and compassionate educator with experience in Special Educational Needs (SEN)? A warm and welcoming SEN school in Sefton is seeking a committed long-term supply teacher to join their team from September.

About the School:

This inclusive and supportive school caters to pupils with a range of complex needs, including ASD, MLD, SLD, and SEMH. Staff work closely with families and external professionals to provide personalised education plans, and the school is known for its nurturing environment and focus on holistic development.

The Role:
  • Full-time teaching position within a supportive SEN setting

  • Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet individual learning needs

  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider school team

  • Monitoring progress and maintaining thorough, up-to-date records

  • Managing behaviour with empathy, consistency, and clear communication

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification

  • Have a keen interest in or Experience working in an SEN environment (schools or specialist provisions)

  • Strong classroom management skills and a flexible, resilient approach

  • A passion for supporting children with additional needs

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
