Are you a qualified teacher with a passion for your subject and experience in Special Educational Needs? Are you ready to make a lasting impact in a nurturing, specialist environment? We are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Subject Specialist SEN Teacher to join a dedicated SEN school from September 2025 on a long-term basis.

About the Role:Our partner SEN school in Sefton is looking for a subject-specialist teacher (e.g., English, Science, Humanities, etc.) to deliver engaging and accessible lessons to students with a range of needs, including ASD, MLD, and SEMH. You'll teach small classes with a focus on individualised learning, supported by experienced TAs and a skilled SEN leadership team.

Whether your specialism is a core subject or a creative discipline, the school is committed to adapting the curriculum to support student engagement, progress, and confidence.

The ideal candidate will have:? QTS or QTLS (Unqualified but experienced SEN practitioners also considered)? A strong subject knowledge and ability to adapt content to suit diverse needs? Experience working with students with SEND (desirable but not essential)? A nurturing and flexible teaching style? Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
