Tempest Education are working with an SEN School in L19

The School are looking to appoint An SEN Teaching Assistant as soon as possible.

This role is 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.

The school has a fantastic support stream to provide personalised support for students with SEN, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to thrive in their education. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the implementation of personalised learning plans for SEN student.
  • Helping create a nurturing, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Supporting classroom activities and adapting resources to meet students' needs.
  • Encouraging social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Collaborating with teachers, SEN coordinators, and other professionals to deliver targeted interventions.

Requirements:

    • Experience working with children, especially those with SEN, is highly desirable
    • Patience, compassion, and a positive approach to supporting children's learning
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • A genuine passion for working in education and helping children succeed
    • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
    • Minimum 6 months experience within a School environment
