The Role
They are seeking an experienced Tekla Draughtsman to join their team. In this role, you will create accurate 3D models and high-quality fabrication drawings that support both workshop and site teams in delivering complex steelwork projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models in Tekla Structures for structural steelwork to EXC 3 standards.
- Produce fabrication drawings, general arrangements (GAs), and assembly details to workshop-ready specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and workshop teams to ensure practicality and accuracy in fabrication and installation.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and site measurements to generate precise models.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and client requirements.
- Support project changes and revisions throughout the design and build process.
About You
- Proven background as a Tekla Draughtsman within a structural steel fabrication environment.
- Proficiency in Tekla Structures (3D modelling and detailing).
- Strong working knowledge of Execution Class 3 structural steelwork.
- Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
