Job Title: GP Receptionist
Location: Various locations in Mersyside - Sefton, Litherland, Seaforth, Maghull, Hightown, Garston & Netherley
Hours: Monday to Friday, between 08:00 - 18:30 (Shifts range from 5 to 10 hours) - shift/temp work
Rate: 12.21ph - weekly pay

We are currently seeking experienced agency GP Receptionists to support our busy practices across Sefton, including Litherland, Seaforth, Maghull, Hightown, Garston, and Netherley. You MUST have experience in using a system called EMIS to be considered for this role!

About the Role
As part of our evolving reception model, we've introduced a dedicated Care Navigator Hub based in Litherland. This team handles all appointment bookings and patient queries, allowing our in-practice Receptionists to focus on face-to-face patient support.


We're looking for reliable, flexible, and skilled receptionists who can hit the ground running and provide excellent service to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
* Dealing with calls regarding appointments, self-referral, bloods, repeat prescriptions and more.
* Managing patient records and administrative tasks.
* Appointment coordination.
* Ensuring confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Essential Requirements
* Previous experience in a GP receptionist role is advantageous.
* Proficiency in EMIS clinical system.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and adapt to different practice environments.
