They are now seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their high-volume injection moulding site in Liverpool. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take ownership of maintenance operations, lead a skilled technical team, and ensure equipment runs reliably, safely, and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As Maintenance Manager, you will:

• Lead, manage, and develop the maintenance team, ensuring safe and effective maintenance of plant equipment and facilities.

• Plan and schedule maintenance activities to support production output and minimise downtime.

• Conduct and lead root cause analysis for equipment failures, putting corrective actions in place.

• Oversee departmental budgets, spare parts inventory, and supplier relationships.

• Ensure full compliance with site safety, environmental, and operational standards.

• Drive continuous improvement projects focused on reliability, efficiency, and equipment performance.

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

• 5+ years' maintenance management experience within injection moulding or plastics manufacturing.

• Strong technical knowledge of moulding presses (Haitian, Engel, Arburg, Husky, Milacron), robotics (e.g., KUKA), and air/cooling systems.

• Hands-on expertise across hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, and electrical fault-finding.

• Proven experience leading and motivating technical teams.

• Excellent communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.

• Preferred: Engineering degree or relevant technical qualification.

• £55,000 - £60,000 basic salary
