Mechanic

The Role

The Thrive Group are looking for a compressor Install engineer a team of skilled team in Gomersal area to help install, test, and commission a variety of vehicle-mounted compressor and generator systems (plus some auxiliary components).

You'll be based at their headquarters, working alongside experienced engineers who'll help you get up to speed with full product training and ongoing support. Once you complete your initial training, you'll also receive in-house health and safety qualifications.

PLEASE NOTE - This role would suit someone with a motor vehicle or HGV mechanic role. Experience in compressors is not essential.

About You

We're after someone who's practical, hands-on, and enjoys problem-solving. Ideally, you'll have:

• A relevant mechanical qualification (City & Guilds Level 3 or higher)
• At least 3 years' experience in a mechanical role
• Experience fitting or working with compressors on vehicles
• The right to work in the UK
• Plenty of energy and physical fitness for the job
• A flexible approach - happy to do a bit of overtime when needed
• You're within easy reach of Liversedge

Other

• Normal working hours: 08.00 - 16.30 with regular overtime.
• Breaks: 15 minutes paid break (morning & evening) and 30 minutes unpaid lunch break.
• Salary: Circa 14.50 to start, potentially with a view to increase after 3 months with overtime paid at time and half after 40 hours.
