About the role…

As a CCTV Drainage Technician Apprentice, you will support experienced engineers in conducting CCTV surveys of drainage systems across various sectors including commercial, residential, industrial, rail, and utilities.  Working from our custom-equipped CCTV vans and occasionally with Jetting Units, you will learn how to assess pipe conditions, operate inspection equipment, and assist in producing high-quality reports. You will follow guidance from on-site Engineers and your Project Manager while developing your ability to work safely, efficiently, and independently as you progress through the apprenticeship.

This is a full-time permanent role based from our Livingston office and (hybrid working) if needed.

As an Apprentice Drainage Technician you will…

Learn and adhere to Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental policies and procedures.

Assist in reporting and escalating site-related incidents.

Support Engineers in resolving problems effectively.

Contribute to on-site tasks including CCTV inspections and jetting operations.

Help produce high-quality results and provide feedback as appropriate.

Develop strong communication skills and relationships with clients and colleagues.

Remain flexible and available for early starts, weekend work, and out-of-hours shifts across the UK.

About you…

We're looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and eager to develop their skills. An interest in drainage, utilities, or the construction industry is highly valued, along with strong communication and teamwork abilities. A basic understanding of Health and Safety, experience in a customer-facing role, and familiarity with Microsoft Office are all desirable. Most importantly, we're seeking someone with a proactive approach, a willingness to take initiative, and a genuine enthusiasm for learning.
