Escape Recruitment is working with a well-established manufacturing company who is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their busy team.

In this role, you will ensure finished goods are shipped to customers on time and complete customs and shipping paperwork. You will also be involved in moving stock between company sites.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Work closely with the customer's Shipping Agents (road, rail, sea, and air) to arrange shipments of finished goods
  • Prepare all the required quality certificates and customs documents
  • Maintain and update internal systems to ensure data is accurate and accessible
  • Compile production, inspection, and testing documentation as needed
  • Work closely with internal colleagues to ensure products are prepared and ready for shipment
  • Continually look for ways to improve processes and procedures

Experience and knowledge required for the role:

  • Experience in a similar logistics or shipping role, ideally in manufacturing
  • Proven experience working with transport providers and shipping agents
  • A strong communicator who works well with others
  • A good understanding of customs documents and shipping processes
  • Comfortable using internal systems and keeping everything organised and updated
  • Good time management skills and can manage workload to meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work paid overtime during peak periods when required.
