Pallet Repair Operator

Location: Livingston
Hours: Full-Time - Monday to Friday working 6am till 2pm and 2pm till 10pm on a weekly rotational shift pattern
Salary: 12.50 per hour increasing to 13.30 per hour on completion of training plus regular overtime at enhanced rates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and assess pallets for damage and repair requirements
  • Carry out repairs using hand tools and machinery in line with company standards
  • Working to specific process repair guidelines
  • Sort and grade pallets for reuse or recycling
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or repair-based role OR transferable skills from another environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Physically fit and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes
