About the Role
You’ll play a key part in the commercial team, responsible for procuring materials and plant in line with programme and budget needs. It’s a role where you’ll work closely with site teams, build supplier relationships, and help keep projects moving smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing
- Procuring materials and plant to support live projects
- Managing supplier relationships and negotiating best value deals
- Coordinating deliveries to ensure on-time supply to sites
- Supporting site managers and commercial staff with procurement needs
- Monitoring market trends and pricing to inform buying strategy
- Experience in a Buying or Assistant Buying role within the construction sector
- A solid understanding of procurement, plant hire, and materials supply
- Good communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Confidence working with both site and office teams
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A stable, full-time permanent role with a respected and growing contractor
