Job Title: New Business Development Manager

Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 per annum

Location: Livingston Area

Employment Type: Full-time

Overview:

We are seeking a driven and experienced New Business Development Manager to join our team and lead growth initiatives within the Food Service Sector. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sales background, excellent relationship-building skills, and a passion for identifying new opportunities. Previous experience in the food industry is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively generate new business and meet set sales targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Conduct cold calling, lead generation, and market research
• Arrange client meetings via phone, email, and CRM tools
• Provide quotations and manage the full sales process
• Analyse customer data, spending patterns, and margins
• Offer after-sales support and account management
• Attend trade shows and exhibitions as required
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service

Requirements:

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
• Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English and Italian (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Knowledge of the Scottish food service market is highly beneficial
• Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
