Position: Financial Reporting Analyst

Location: Deeside

Hours: Monday-Friday 8.00am-4.30pm

Salary: �DOE + Excellent Company Benefits Package

HRGO are seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join a newly established finance team within a global manufacturing organisation.

You will be a motivated, dynamic finance professional capable of making a real difference in developing and shaping financial operations and the future finance strategy. You will be social, communicative, and flexible, able to challenge and support management and able to work in different cultures. You will be proactive, forward-thinking and an expert in data analytics and in using modern analytical tools. Using your own initiative to continuously improve processes, systems, and ways of working.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing focused business management reporting, devising, and designing professional dashboards and suitable KPIs and delivery of other management information needed to improve business performance and follow-up strategic goals

  • Performing data analysis and identifying and driving actions to optimise financial performance

  • Preparing relevant, account and timely management reporting and drawing the necessary conclusion on actions arising and influencing change

  • Supporting monthly closing processes including reconciliations and analytics

  • Developing and managing finance and business processes, tools, and analytics for key stakeholders

  • Developing and managing cost management, budgetary and forecasting processes

  • Implementing capital investment project cost management and follow-up

  • Implementation of ERP Accounting systems in a global business context

Requirements

You will be a qualified accountant with a minimum of three year's experience of working within a manufacturing environment. Experience with data analysis and using modern analytical tools is essential.

Specialist Skills

  • A strong understanding of Business and Data Story Telling

  • Self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work within teams but also to lead, coach and mentor others

  • Change agent with ability to influence business practices and communicate effectively

  • Experience of SAP, SAGE and of working with databases, ETL tools and analytics, Power BI/Tableau and the ability to utilise cloud platforms to create dashboards to drive business performance and improvements

  • You will have previous experience of working in a business environment with programming statistics, data preparation and validation as well as knowledge of exploratory analysis and modeling in addition to excellent excel skills

  • You will have the ability to review business challenges using data analytics and provide transparent insights to assist with data driven decision and excellent problem solving ability

  • Ability to work in a changing environment with a flexible approach

  • Highly motivated and proactive to develop and grow with the business
