I am recruiting several CARING and PASSIONATE Support Workers to join a Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and complex needs. The service, located in Llandovery, Carmarthenshire, supports adults aged 18-65.

The service is looking for candidates with a caring nature and the ability to have fun and engage with the people they support.

  • Salary: 25,552.80 - 31,327.20 (Based on 6 sleep-in shifts a month)
  • Hours: Full Time - 39 hours
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Shifts: 3 on 4 off 08:00 - 21:00 with optional sleep-in shifts. (Days) or Nights 4 on 4 off
  • Location: Llandovery, Carmarthenshire,

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
  • Ensuring the safety of the service users.
  • Following care plans for each individual.
  • Taking service users out into the community.
  • Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening and day trips.
  • Varying levels of personal care.

Requirements:

  • No experience required.
  • Must be resilient.
  • Drivers ESSENTIAL
  • Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
