We’re looking for a Senior Procurement Officer to play a key role in supporting and leading activity across a range of projects and categories. As Senior Procurement Officer, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing complex projects and negotiations, ensuring value for money and strong supplier performance.
- Supporting the development of sourcing strategies that reflect our environmental and social values.
- Using data and analysis to inform planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and systems.
- Supporting and sharing knowledge with the procurement team, stepping into a leadership role when required to ensure continuity and progress.
We’re looking for a Senior Procurement Officer with:
- Previous experience in the role, including sourcing, contract management, and supplier engagement.
- A CIPS qualification (or equivalent), with a strong understanding of public procurement principles.
- A proactive and analytical mindset, with the ability to solve problems and drive improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Confidence using digital tools and systems to support activity.
