We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our Accounting & Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and efficient accounts receivable operations.

Description

  • Managing incoming funds and resolving account discrepancies.
  • Preparing and presenting reports on collections activities and progress.
  • Processing and verifying applications for credit.
  • Working closely with the sales team to implement accounts receivable procedures and policies.
  • Ensuring all clients remain informed on their outstanding debts and deadlines.
  • Maintaining accurate records of accounts receivable transactions.
  • Providing administrative support to the accounting team.
  • Participating in team meetings and continuous professional development activities.

Profile

A successful Accounts Receivable Assistant should have:

  • A solid understanding of basic accounting and accounts receivable principles.
  • Proven ability to calculate, post and manage financial records.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Competency in MS Office, databases and accounting software.
  • Strong communication, customer service and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
