Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a background in a highly regulated industry on a permanent basis, to be located in Lockerbie.
Duties & responsibilities
- H&S is adhered to
- To undertake PPM on basic mechanical systems
- To cover all maintenance of mechanical systems
- To complete PPM in line with agreements
- To undertake installation works such as improvements to the mill
- To respond to break downs requests, providing a professional & timely service
- To support the other members of the maintenance team between departments
Skills required
- Recognised apprenticeship or qualification in mechanical engineering or minimum 5 years experience in mechanical fitting.
- A good team player, but also able to work alone
- Must be presentable & reliable
- Able to build good relationships at all levels, internally & externally
The candidate must have the ability to communicate in English and understand written instructions
