Attention all AECOsim Modellers!

Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced AECOsim Modeller to join a well-established engineering consultancy, in a contract role Inside IR35. You will be required to work on a hybrid basis (3 days a week) from our client's London office. This is a great opportunity to work hands on with 3D modelling of structures on HS2.

Key Responsibilities:

-Create, manage, and coordinate detailed 3D models using Bentley AECOsim (OpenBuildings Designer) to support engineering and architectural design.

-Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure design intent, technical accuracy, and project requirements are fully met.

-Produce accurate drawings and documentation from models in line with industry standards, maintaining model structure and integrity throughout all phases.

-Implement BIM best practices, contribute to model audits and quality assurance, and support clash detection and model federation processes.

-Assist with integrating AECOsim models into wider Common Data Environment (CDE) platforms such as ProjectWise.

What we are looking for:

-Must have Aecosim modelling experience.

-Prior experience with 3D modelling on structural projects.

-Proven experience with Bentley AECOsim / OpenBuildings Designer in a modelling or BIM technician role.

-Solid understanding of BIM processes and standards (e.g. BS 1192, ISO 19650).

-Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings accurately.

-Experience on multi-disciplinary projects, ideally in infrastructure or buildings sectors.

-Proficient with Bentley software and digital collaboration tools, with strong attention to detail and team communication skills.
