Assistant General Manager - Multi-site Venue
Location: South-West London
Salary: £45,000 p.a. + benefits
Successful multi-site venue in South-West London, comprising of a bar, casual dining, events space and private hire rooms required AGM with experience of a similar venue for this amazing opportunity. You will be creative, with good commercial knowledge, an effective leader with an entrepreneurial flare.
Responsibilities:
- Provide an exceptional front of house service to everyone who walks through the door.
- Mentor team members to provide the same exceptional service.
- Managing a team of 30 staff alongside the GM.
- Ensuring budgets and standards are met.
- Overseeing Profit & Loss.
- Drafting rotas
- Assisting the GM in recruitment, development and training of staff.
- Ensuring Health & Safety documents are in place and standards are met including fire safety, first aid, COSHH, allergy awareness etc.
- Identifying and escalating maintenance issues as they arise.
- Creating table plans, responding to guest enquiries and queries.
- Updating and maintaining the point-of-sale systems.
- Working with the general manager and bar manager on pricing and stock takes.
- Producing weekly reports for management, in order to achieve quarterly GP, sales, and wastage targets etc.
- Occasionally providing creative input on operations, marketing, social media etc. to Senior Management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience managing a high volume, multi-site venue.
- Ability to manage a team of around 30 staff.
- Must hold a personal liquor license.
- Experience using online customer booking systems.
- Positive and energetic.
