Position Overview:
As the Residential Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our housing management functions run smoothly across multiple supported housing services. You'll be responsible for creating a welcoming and safe atmosphere for residents while managing a small but dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee housing management functions, ensuring compliance with tenancy agreements and legal regulations.
  • Manage licence and tenancy agreements and coordinate maintenance issues promptly.
  • Maintain financial accountability through rent collection and service charge management.
  • Respond to emergencies, including outside normal working hours.
  • Collaborate with external partners to enhance service delivery and community support.

What We're Looking For:
Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing complex projects and change processes.
  • Proven track record in facilities and health and safety contract management.
  • Strong financial management skills, including budget setting and oversight.

Skills and Qualities:

  • Exceptional leadership and management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to engage and inspire staff and residents alike.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong ability to work collaboratively.
  • Knowledge of social care issues and a commitment to social justice.

Qualifications:

    • A CIH qualification in Social Housing or equivalent is preferred.
