About the Opportunity

Join a Leading Branded Venue at the Heart of the Capital

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead our flagship branded venue in busy Central London. Themed around motorcycle culture and attracting around 2,500 guests each week, our vibrant restaurant and café is renowned for its great food, unique atmosphere and clientele, who visit from all over the world. The business has additional revenue streams, including membership, retail and events. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hospitality professional to steer an energetic team and contribute directly to the continued success and growth of a dynamic business, which also has a counterpart venue in Los Angeles and is developing a franchise business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Manage, inspire, and develop all restaurant staff, including chefs and front-of-house teams, ensuring high standards of service and kitchen excellence.
  • Financial Oversight: Oversee P&L budget forecasts, control costs, and drive profitability, providing regular reports and business updates directly to the company owners.
  • Sales:Increase Spend per Head with drive to upsell every customer through waitstaff training, mentoring and incentives.
  • Wastage & GP:Reduce wastage and increase GP on food in cooperation with Head Chef.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with fellow managers, particularly the events team, to coordinate large-scale bookings and bespoke catering for corporate and private parties. The GM will also play an important role in our annual weekend event at Tobacco Dock every May, where we book third-party suppliers to create and run pop-up bars, expanding our hospitality brand experience.
  • Operational Excellence: Maintain smooth day-to-day operations across a fast-paced, six-day week schedule, with flexibility required for unsociable hours, especially during busy weekends and holiday events, including Christmas, Halloween and some Bank Holidays.
  • Customer Experience: Uphold our brands reputation for quality and hospitality, ensuring every guest receives a memorable visit.

Central London location with excellent transport links

Approx. 2,500 guests weekly

Open six days a week (weekend peaks)

Additional revenue from Retail and Events space hire

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience as a General Manager or in a senior hospitality leadership role

Strong financial acumen and demonstrable P&L management skills

Exceptional people management and communication abilities

Track record of successful event or large booking coordination

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and unsociable hours as required

A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and team development
